This cover has become one of my best-sellers and is a hit at the comic cons. It combines the iconic Buffy the Vampire Slayer with the modern slayer Guillermo from What We Do In the Shadows.
I knew from the beginning that I wanted them back-to-back like a typical comic book superhero duo. Originally, I had them surrounded by bats, but I scrapped it in order to keep the composition clean.
In order to draw the eye to the center and frame our heroes, I featured hands of some monsters reaching out towards them. The hands belong to various vampires, demons and werewolves that were on their respective shows.
